Installation with a central media object.

(«Counting from one to twelve»)

The central media object — a 3D space on which the viewer can virtually walk. This 3D space consists of 12 locations made up of found objects.
In the rest of the exhibition space, 12 yarn objects are hung on the walls. They are images of clay or stone tablets, which previously described the historical events. In this case, these are plaques with the narration of events from yarn. History «knits» events together, forming such silent stories.

Exposition and objects.

In a very unstable time, it seemed important to «ground». Find the fulcrum points. I decided to take the number 12 as the central subject of study. Not words — numbers. Order, counting, rhythm. This is something definite that you want to rely on. This number is multifaceted, in different epochs it had different meanings for people, and I also returned to it. Both the game and the installation consist of 12 parts.

As a child, I went to church. One of my vivid memories of this place are paintings describing the Old Testament in 12 parts. This is a story that was told around the perimeter of the church space. It was important for me to get a similar experience of observing reality, only the one that develops in the present tense. We look at it, but it is still hidden from us. I wanted to show this phenomenon with my knitted objects. A woven piece of time, the plot of which we will learn much later.

Thus, the installation explores the boundary stages between consciousness, body and collective.
